The cottage is centrally located in one of the posh neighborhoods of the city, Rajbagh. We have lovingly worked round the theme of “peace” while bringing to life our cherished dream- a place where you can be at peace with yourself and the outside world in a tranquil and soothing environment. Our rooms are individually and elegantly designed and furnished; eclectic in style, the interiors display a subtle blend of tradition and modernity. The materials used are mostly local and are environment friendly. The Famous Khatambund wooden ceilings, the papier machie accessories and popular local furnishings create an ambience that will charm you and add value to your stay with us. The lush green gardens dotted by flowers, shrubs and fruit trees are the hallmark of Dove Cottage. You will love to unwind in the abundant outdoor lounging space sipping traditional Kashmiri Kahwa tea . In the garden the eating place “Dove’s Nest” will take you back in time to a century old Kashmir. The mud plastered walls, the lattice work windows and the straw mats are the special feature of this hutment. Dove Cottage is ideal for both long and short stays, for tourists and business executives looking for a relaxed home stay atmosphere, a perfect base for travellers exploring Srinagar City as well as going on day trips to various hill resorts in the countryside. We are a 15 minute drive away from the Srinagar Airport, the famous Dal Lake is merely 5 minutes by car and the central shopping areas just 5 to 7 minutes away.
